Our Services

The first few years with your little one can be a particular challenge because a child’s feeding abilities and needs change with motor, cognitive, and social development. It’s easy to forget that these little humans are learning what hunger is and how to express their own, and how to become familiar with a feeding routine, before becoming independent with their feeding needs. Not to mention that they will mimic eating choices, patterns and behaviours modelled by the family.

It’s a lot. But that’s why we exist. We’re parents too. We are here to offer support and training to both parents and child to assist in what can be an incredibly stressful period. And to make it fun.

Feeding & Swallowing

We carry out feeding & swallowing assessments for children of all ages in person or online via Telehealth. Our specialty is mentoring parents and carers to put the joy into mealtimes with your little one. This may be a delay in the development of eating skills e.g. getting stuck only eating pureed foods, gagging, coughing  or choking on food and drink.  We are experienced at treating all types of feeding difficulties, such as:

  • Fussy or selective eating

  • Refusing food or bottles

  • Oral aversion

  • Extended mealtimes

  • Starting solids

Autism Assessment

We provide an autism diagnostic clinic (0-18 years). Working as part of a team with the referring Paediatrician to complete a comprehensive evaluation using recognised tools and assessments. We gather information from the childcare or school and interview the family (parents or caregivers), and analyse the assessment results. We collaborate with the Paediatrician on the basis of our assessment.

Early Communication

We assess and support babies and toddlers with early communication delays, which can include your little one having difficulty with social communication (e.g. not smiling, limited use of eye contact, difficulty copying actions), not using single words or joining two words together

Group Workshops

Our group workshops include comprehensive tips relating to feeding and development. Our workshops include: Introduction to solids (4-6 months) & Early Communication (2-3 years)
